Sergio Ramos is just one step away from becoming the owner of Sevilla. According to COPE, negotiations between the parties are progressing well, with a deal considered highly likely. Ramos is involved in the process alongside investment firm Five Eleven Capital, which is in talks with the club’s current shareholders. Sources indicate that a final agreement could be reached as early as today.
Earlier reports suggested that Sevilla’s potential sale price is around €450 million, and the current shareholders have reportedly given preliminary approval for the transaction.
Ramos, a product of the Andalusian club’s youth academy, played for Sevilla’s first team from 2003 to 2005 before returning for the 2023/2024 season.
