Chris Bassitt (3-2) struck out six and allowed just one run over six innings. Rico Garcia recorded his third save by working a scoreless ninth, despite issuing a walk.
Beavers and Gunnar Henderson each collected two hits for the Orioles, who snapped a three-game losing streak with their third win in the last 11 contests.

Athletics leadoff hitter Nick Kurtz extended his major-league-best on-base streak to 34 games with an eighth-inning walk. Tyler Soderstrom doubled to lead the A’s four-hit attack.
Luis Severino (2-4) took the loss for Oakland, allowing two runs on six hits and four walks in 5 1/3 innings while striking out four. The Athletics had been seeking their second four-game winning streak of the season.

Anthony Nunez handled the eighth, and Garcia closed it out with one strikeout, filling in as the closer with Ryan Helsley on the injured list. Orioles pitchers totaled 10 strikeouts and four walks.
The Athletics, who finished their six-game road trip atop the AL West, jumped ahead 1-0 in the second on Carlos Cortes’ sacrifice fly. Henderson tied it in the third with an RBI infield single.
Baltimore loaded the bases with two outs in the fifth but failed to score, stranding eight runners in the game. In the next inning, Beavers fought through a nine-pitch at-bat to deliver the go-ahead single, ending Severino’s outing. Athletics reliever Justin Sterner escaped a bases-loaded jam by recording two strikeouts.
