Ak Bars forward Grigory Denisenko commented on the team’s decision to travel by train to Yaroslavl for the opening games of the Gagarin Cup final series against Lokomotiv. The first match of the series is set for May 11.
When asked if the train journey would pose any challenges, Denisenko replied: “No, we have a dedicated car, direct to Yaroslavl. We’ll eat, get some sleep, be ready, train, and then take the ice for the game.”
The club confirmed that the team will board the train in the evening and arrive in Yaroslavl the next morning, with a practice session scheduled later that day.
