Former Major League outfielders Carlos Beltrán and Andruw Jones have been voted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America, earning their place among the game’s all-time greats in Cooperstown.

Beltrán, in his fourth year of eligibility, received 84.2% of the vote, while Andruw Jones garnered 78.4% in his ninth year. They join Jeff Kent, selected by the Era Committee, to complete the Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

Carlos Beltrán becomes the fifth Puerto Rican player elected to the Hall of Fame. He is one of only eight players in MLB history with at least 300 home runs and 300 stolen bases, and ranks among the top 30 all-time in extra-base hits and doubles. In 65 playoff games, he posted a .307/.412/.609 batting line. The nine-time All-Star won two Silver Slugger Awards, three Gold Glove Awards, and was the American League Rookie of the Year in 1999. Over his 20-year career, he played for seven teams, making significant impacts with the Kansas City Royals, New York Mets, and Houston Astros.

Andruw Jones, the first player from Curaçao elected to the Hall of Fame, earned 10 Gold Glove Awards, tying Ken Griffey Jr. for second-most among center fielders, behind only Willie Mays and Roberto Clemente. He won the National League Hank Aaron Award and a Silver Slugger in 2005 after hitting 51 home runs for the Atlanta Braves. Jones is one of four players to hit more than 400 home runs and win at least 10 Gold Gloves, joining fellow Hall of Famers Griffey, Mays, and Mike Schmidt.
